GetALife team (or i.e. partners-in-crime Mike&Jeremy) + Angie went to the top of the world (erm... it's just top of Marina Bay, but it's already very high) last Friday.
It was an invitation for yet another pre NDP celebration. The party is part of the entire series of events building up to the actual NDP celebration itself. I could not attend this one but I went to a previous one at Arena, Clarke Quay before. Not surprisingly, it was another uber cool party! Well, food and drinks are all sponsored, thanks to all the kind sponsors, of course...
Anyway, according to Mike&Jeremy+Angie, the Flyer was fun BUT it was only fun for the first part of the journey. They saw the nice skyline of the entire Marina area when they were going up. However, the view turned into cranes and sands and spotlights and all the boring construction going on when they were descending. Well, I guess the IR is not ready yet, thus the less than attractive view. Hmm... Maybe Singapore Flyer should consider lowering the price like giving a discount for that? Wahaha... Dream on...
I took the Flyer before and personally I had quite a pleasant experience... Wonder where is the location for the next pre NDP celebration... |
