Social Innovation: The Global Social Revolution

Social innovation refers to new ideas and systems that meet social goals.

Developing social innovations is an urgent task because of the increasing complexity of social issues.

Strategic investment in social innovations that grow businesses and the communities that they rely on will be the key to long-term corporate success and survival. Leaders of the people, public, and private sectors must mobilize resources and collaborate to advance social innovations that meet the needs of the global population.

The Global Social Innovators Forum (GSIF) is an annual gathering of key decision makers and leaders from all sectors to explore how social enterprise and innovation can create income and growth opportunities for businesses.

Social Innovation Park in collaboration with the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship awards a local social entrepreneur with the SIP-Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Recipients of the award gain publicity, opportunities for scholarships to attend courses at Harvard Business School, Stanford University and INSEAD, invitations to the Regional World Economic Forum, and join the global SIP and Schwab Foundation networks.
